DEWALT 20V MAX SDS Rotary Hammer Drill, Tool Only (DCH273B)

The DEWALT DCH273B is a brushless rotary hammer drill.
This very lightweight hammer drill come with five amp hour batteries when you buy it in a kit and
you gonna get such a long runtime big capacity battery and a brushless motor.
If you’re looking for long run time it is also quite a powerful tool 4600 hundred beats
per minute BPM and 2.1 joules per hit or per bit so if you get those two numbers together
they tells you how much power is being delivered from the tool to the concrete permanent
That this helps you to compare with other models and such as well so at 4600 beat him in 2.1 joules
that’s fairly high that puts it fairly high in the market for power to go with
that really high run time.
Talked about of course your run time is going to depend totally on what material
you’re working in and what size and what depth you go.

Active Vibration Control

The comfort of this tool is quite high for a rotary hammer drill I really like it one thing
that I’m always looking for in a rotary hammer is to see the handle and the trigger in line
with the drill.
If you’re pushing straight through this tool put a fair bit of effort into reducing
the fatigue again from vibration so the handle is quite protected from the motor
and their hammer action by anti vibration system in the handle.
It actually does a pretty good job of course you’re always going to feel that when
you’re drilling into masonry but it does a pretty good job.

Three Modes

The DEWALT DCH273B hammer drill has three modes it has standard hammer drilling Road
for concrete and matheny it has a standard drilling mode for drilling or driving in timber
or steel and it has a Mahoney mode for trimming so you can use this to chip away slag
and concrete after you’ve opted for or to chip up tiles things like that that’s a really nice feature
to have in a rotary hammer drill there’s only sort of more recently making
its way into the cordless versions.
The tool comes with a belt hook put United style into climbing ladders or whatever
you want to do and apart from that it doesn’t have that many bells and whistles but as I said it’s got
that chipping feature which is really nice.
Is actually not a very large tool considering that it’s a premium full sized
and involved hammer drill it’s a actually quite short in both directions
it’s only three points three kilos so that’s quite good Dewalt.

Final Words

Wanna mention is the chuck it is a really nice easy to use chuck you pull it back to get
the bit out you drop the bit in spin it around until it drops in it’s really easy it should always
be really easy but it’s not it is you this tool it’s a nice chuck it feels very good so yeah that is
The DEWALT DCH273B is you want to be able to use it all day with one runtime is definitely worth a look.

Power and Ease of Use

Just precisely the tool I’ve constantly wanted for this function, and without the clumsiness of power cables. I’ve burned out 3 or four traditional corded hammer drills in the past, actually excellent ones from Ryobi, Milwaukee as well as Craftsman. They fried themselves after taking hours to drill fairly couple of openings in concrete, despite mindful use. This DeWalt SDS tool is simply what the drill doctor ordered. Although its a large investment, I would certainly suggest getting the SDS Plus Dust Extractor that goes with this. No mess, no mask/respirators, no waiting, and no cords. You simply obtain openings. The combination makes you desire to discover some brick/concrete just to keep piercing to see if it’s actual or if you’re fantasizing, even if you don’t need anymore openings. Search. The pricing on this is an actual financial investment if you’re not an expert in construction. But also if you desire a long-term “keeper” for those projects around your home, might as well simply go for it.

Wonderful Dewalt Product

I love the new brushless design. I had the previous 20v version as well as lasted me three years of hefty use. When that one burnt out as well as used out I required a replacement so I got this one. I love all their brushless devices. This new brushless model has just the same functions as the older one with even more improvements. I like that it has a belt clip on for sweating off a ladder. The 20v hammerdrill is wonderful for quick work, saves time running cables around as well as discovering the next closest electrical outlet. Will absolutely get this again when the time comes and also I suggest this hammerdrill to any person looking for a small compact, yet effective drill.

Finest Cordless Hammer Drill

I got this in addition to two 4 amp hr batteries. I needed to drill regarding 64 holes right into steel reinforced concrete. I was able to drill all the openings without even billing one battery which I found outstanding. A lot more significantly, this Dewalt was easy to utilize, not very heavy and also did not cause tiredness. I was drilling on walls, as well as some of them mored than my head.I enjoy Dewalt.
